The Aurelia 50th anniversary event was the result of the efforts of Italian, Francesco Gandolfi, Mike Jennings from England, and in very large part by Daniel Pottier, President of Lancia Club France.
The event brought together almost 50 beautiful and sometimes rare Lancia Aurelias from all over Europe to the end of the Via Aurelia in Arles, France. This well organized event, that treated the participants to great French food and wines, was a wonderful social success and included a caravan on the Via Aurelia to Camorgue, Aigues Mort, Baux de Provence, Post du Gard and on to the great Roman Aqueduct.
